Benefits of joining Murray Business Network

Through facilitated networking, the Murray Business Network provides its members with various opportunities to:

• Develop and strengthen business relationships and opportunities through interaction with other business professionals, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
• Use various avenues to promote your organisation to new and potential clients
• Profile your organisation on the MBN website
• Develop skills and be inspired by the variety of high profile presenters at MBN events, who offer expertise, experience and entertainment (for example, Bernard Salt, Jason McCartney, Ita Buttrose an Andrew Horabin were the presenters at the last four major events)
• Learn from local site visits and speakers about what the local community has to offer
• Receive regular updates about workshops, training opportunities, business news, business programs and issues affecting your organisation
• Become motivated and inspired to strive for business success, through utilizing opportunities for skill development and learning from the real life experiences of like minded people.
• Exchange referrals and support for business endeavours, with other members from a wide range of business backgrounds.
• Promote your involvement in the local business community using your MBN Member sticker, which can increase business, as many members seek to use other MBN member businesses where possible.
• Become part of a Network where members are truly encouraged to do business with each other.

Member ‘tickets’

Murray Business Network hosts four major networking functions each membership year, as well as member-only social functions.

• When a member joins the network, they are allocated a certain number of ‘tickets’ for the year, how many depends on which level of membership they purchase.
• Every individual attending a major networking function is required to use a ‘ticket’ to enter.
• Non-members are most welcome to attend major events, but are required to purchase a ‘ticket’, at a cost (the cost varies depending on the event).
• Members are eligible to attend social functions free of charge

MBN Membership Options

Campaspe Membership        $250        (Entitles you to 10 tickets for the year to major events)
Murray Membership             $150        (Entitles you to 4 tickets for the year to major events)

MBN Membership Year

The 2010-2011 MBN Membership year runs from 1 October 2010 until 30 September 2011.
